It's about three minutes to get from one end of the island to the other, to the only telephone.

It is an insufferably long fifteen minutes to get a hold of Tenzin's brother.

"Bumi, what happened?"

Bumi sounds weary, but otherwise okay.

"I've spent the better part of the last day doing damage control. It's really a minor story and shouldn't make the papers. It most certainly wouldn't if I hadn't been on board at the time. Such is life.
